Imam Ashour extends Al Ahly's stay until 2030

CAIRO, Aug 26: Egyptian giant Al Ahly has extended midfielder Imam Ashour’s contract until 2030, the club announced.

The new deal was finalized during a meeting between Ashour and Al Ahly’s head of contracts, Essam Sirag El-Din, who completed the administrative and financial procedures in coordination with football director Wael Gomaa.

Ashour expressed his appreciation to the club and its supporters, stressing his desire to continue with Al Ahly and contribute to the team’s success in the coming years.

The 26-year-old joined Al Ahly in July 2023 and quickly established himself as a key player, featuring prominently in both domestic and continental competitions.

The contract extension secures Ashour’s future with the Cairo giants through 2030 and puts an end to recent speculation over his future.
