KUWAIT CITY, April 26: The nonstop campaigns organized by field security sectors of the Ministry of Interior to flush out violators of residence and labor laws, beggars, and serious traffic violations, juveniles who drive vehicles without licenses resulted in the arrest of 13 juveniles, reports Al-Jarida daily. A security source told Al-Jarida, the Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate, carried out a field security campaign that resulted not only in the arrest of 13 juveniles but their vehicles were impounded and taken to the ministry garage. The source added 56 traffic violations were issued during the campaign and arrested 7 expatriates for violating residence and labor law.

The source indicated the security sector also arrested 10 expatriates who had been reported absconding and one wanted by the CID, one person for breach of trust, as well as 7 people who did not carry IDs. The sources pointed out all those arrested were referred to the competent authorities. On the other hand the Public Security Sector, the special missions’ patrolmen seized two people who were found in possession of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and tools for abuse.
