Commerce Ministry cracks down on service offices and cooperative societies for regulation violations.

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 7: A team of inspectors from the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has issued nine violation notices to various service offices for failing to comply with the Ministry’s regulations.

During their inspections, the team also discovered a warehouse in the Capital Governorate storing approximately 75,000 pieces of prohibited tobacco. The illegal stockpile was promptly seized.

Additionally, the inspectors issued three seizure reports against several cooperative societies located in the outer regions for legal violations.

The Ministry continues to enforce strict regulations to ensure compliance and protect consumer rights across the country.
