KUWAIT CITY, Jun 21: The Ministry of Commerce has taken swift action against an illegal restaurant operating out of an apartment in Salmiya after an advertisement video of the establishment went viral on TikTok. The video revealed multiple violations, prompting immediate intervention by authorities.
The workers involved have been referred to the Salmiya police station and are set to be deported for breaching the law. Investigations uncovered that the restaurant was using state-subsidized materials, failing to comply with safety regulations, and operating under hazardous conditions, with the smell of gas permeating the premises.
The Ministry's decisive measures aim to ensure public safety and uphold the law.
