KUWAIT CITY, Apr 14: The Hawalli Governorate Municipality branch yesterday launched a campaign in coordination with the Public Authority for Manpower and Immigration Investigations in Salmiya area Amman Street and Hawally near Kurdish Roundabout area to control gathering of marginal workers which resulted in detaining dozens of violators and referred them to the Immigration Investigations department to deport them with a ban as their documents did not match as per their residence status.

Deputy Team Leader Ibrahim Al-Sabaan stated that the team has put a comprehensive plan to control the violating labor, especially since the inspectors have been present since the early morning in the specified locations.
Some inspectors spoke as a “customer” to know the service fees they provide as it was found that most of the detained workers were engaged in painting, tiling, building and demolishing.
He added, "The sponsor will be called details of the violation will be recorded and their files will be closed stressing that these violations does not require forgiveness, and the law is equal for everyone without making any exception. "
The law primarily prevented gatherings and what happens was a large gathering of workers in the streets and roundabouts is contrary to the law set by council of ministers.
Public have been already warned not to hire external laborers and bring them to houses and offices due to their unknown hygiene issue
