Speaking at the event, Bangladesh Cricket Association Kuwait General Secretary Moazzem Hossain said the association planned to organise and participate in larger tournaments in the future. Association President Jahangir Khan Palash said the tournament provided expatriate cricketers from different countries with an opportunity to showcase their talent while strengthening friendship, mutual understanding and unity among the communities.

The chief guest, journalist Moin Uddin SarkerSumon, President of the Bangladesh Press Club Kuwait and an adviser to the association, said the tournament was not only a contest for the title but also a gathering that brought expatriates together. He noted that the participation of cricketers from different nationalities demonstrated how sports could serve as an effective platform for promoting unity and harmony among expatriates.

He expressed hope that similar initiatives would continue to create greater opportunities for expatriate cricketers, particularly young and emerging players, to develop their skills and showcase their talent. The tournament highlighted the growing popularity of cricket among expatriate communities in Kuwait, where sporting events provide a welcome opportunity for recreation, cultural exchange, and stronger community bonds amid busy working lives.
