During his tour of the exhibition, Al-Awadhi stated that the professional organization, vibrant scientific atmosphere, and dedicated efforts he observed reflect the bright image of the State of Kuwait and are a source of pride. He added “as doctors, we are accustomed to attending scientific conferences, but what I witnessed today at the fair – particularly the dedication and tremendous efforts of the organizers and the judging committees in evaluating projects with accuracy and a high degree of professionalism – is truly impressive and deserving of appreciation.” He pointed out that the fair offers an opportunity for every innovator to present their ideas and solutions, whether related to their field of work or area of specialization, emphasizing that the State supports initiatives which highlight national talents and position Kuwait among the leading countries in innovation. On the other hand, Al-Huwailah affirmed that the exhibition is a milestone that put the State of Kuwait on the global innovation map and reflected the vital role of civil society in development. During her visit to the fair, she said the Kuwait Scientific Club proved its remarkable ability to integrate with government efforts in nurturing national talents and supporting innovation and invention.
She recalled her experience about 10 years ago as a member of the judging panel at the exhibition, expressing her pride in the continuous development of the Club, considering the exhibition has progressed from a local competition to regional and international platforms in accordance with precise global standards. She praised the graduates of the Club who now hold numerous leadership positions throughout the country. She stressed that the world is rapidly transitioning toward a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy, which requires nurturing young people and directing their energies toward scientific creativity. Furthermore, Farhan asserted that the language of today’s world is innovation and invention – whether in methods, work or performance – while commending the international standard the exhibition has achieved. She expressed her pride in the distinguished national figures and experts who are part of the panel of judges, indicating that the judging process is “not an easy task,” but rather an educational and enriching experience for the judges themselves, contributing to enhanced productivity. She congratulated the Club on the success of this major scientific event, affirming that it represents the culmination of years of diligent work, accumulated experience, and outstanding performance that have elevated the exhibition to a global level.
Talal Al-Kharafi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Club and Chairman of the Exhibition’s Higher Committee, praised the visit of the ministers of Social Affairs and Health and KFAS director general, stressing that their presence at this scientific event means the government is fully aware of the importance of volunteer work and the vital role played by civil society. He stated that the fair’s continuity and successes confirm the ability of Kuwaitis to reach international levels, as evidenced by the widespread recognition and acclaim it has received.
He stressed that this excellence is the result of diligent efforts and fruitful cooperation between the Club and all supporting entities. He attributed the exhibition’s prestigious standing primarily to the distinguished judging panel, which includes leading academics and experts from various scientific disciplines. He expressed his pride in their significant volunteer contributions and their continuous support throughout the year in providing the Club and inventors with the necessary scientific and technical consultations.
