Ibrahim appointed as Al-Qadisiya technical advisor

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: The Board of Directors of Al-Qadisiya has made significant coaching changes, appointing national coach Muhammad Ibrahim as the technical advisor to the first team. This decision follows the acceptance of Ibrahim’s resignation from his role as the team’s coach. In his place, Coach Dr. Muhammad Al-Mashaan has been appointed. Al-Qadisiya expressed gratitude to Ibrahim for his recent efforts and acknowledged his commitment despite health challenges.
Meanwhile, Al-Qadisiya has kicked off its training in Bahrain for a 10-day camp in preparation for the upcoming Amir Cup competition. The team is set to face Yarmouk on January 27 in the preliminary round. During the camp, Al-Qadisiya is scheduled to play two matches against Bahraini clubs.
In other news, Al-Arabi Club is considering various professional candidates as potential replacements for Algerian Sofiane Bouchard and Senegalese Mamadou Thiam. Bouchard, currently on loan to an Algerian club, is expected to return next summer to fulfill the remaining term of his two-season contract with Al-Arabi. Secretary Fouad Al-Mazidi disclosed that negotiations have been initiated with Al-Qadisiya player Eid Al-Rashidi. Additionally, Al-Arabi plans to launch investment initiatives at the beginning of the next season.
