Adele

LOS ANGELES, July 17: In a recent interview with German broadcaster ZDF, Adele confirmed that she has no immediate plans to release new music, expressing a desire for a significant break to pursue other creative endeavors.

"I don’t have any plans for new music, at all," Adele stated. "I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while."

These sentiments echo her earlier comments in a December 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, where Adele mentioned feeling cautious about straining her voice during her residency performances. "I get nervous about wearing my voice out... I have nothing to say yet. I haven’t even thought about it," she explained.

Further reinforcing her stance, Adele addressed her audience during her "Weekends With Adele" residency in Las Vegas in January, stating, "I just don’t think I’m gonna write an album for quite some time."

Before taking a hiatus, Adele will fulfill her touring commitments, including a series of shows in Munich, Germany next month. The bespoke "Adele World" pop-up stadium shows are set to feature a 30-meter-high LED screen and a 4,000-square-meter stage, reportedly valued at 40 million euros.

Following her European tour, Adele will conclude her "Weekends With Adele" residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas with performances scheduled for October and November.
