KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: A 1975-born GCC woman was shot dead by her Kuwaiti husband inside their house in Riqqa area. According to security sources, the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information that a Kuwaiti citizen shot his wife inside their house in Riqqa area.Securitymen and paramedics were immediately dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, they found the victim lying on the floor in a pool of her blood. Paramedics examined her to discover she had succumbed to the bullet wounds, and her husband had run away. The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department. Later, the suspect surrendered himself at Riqqa Police Station.During interrogations, he confessed to shooting his wife over some domestic problems. The sources revealed that the 1975-born citizen is a drug addict and involved in a number of cases.
