KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23: The Hunting & Equestrian Club has issued Administrative Circular No. 4 of 2025 to its main stables and the Sheikh Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Sheikh Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah racetracks, calling on all leaseholders to settle their financial obligations. Failure to comply will result in legal action, in accordance with the Public Authority for Sport’s regulations.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Sabah Fahad Al-Nasser, Secretary General of the club, highlighted the ongoing development of horse racing in Kuwait. Following the integration of all four local racetracks, trainers and horses are now able to participate at any track, boosting competition and participation.

In a press statement, Sheikh Sabah Al-Nasser said: “Race registration and entries are now fully online, allowing participants to select their preferred race and distance. Opening the tracks collectively has made it easier for horse owners to take part. Prize values have also been increased, with the minimum prize now set at 1,500 Kuwaiti Dinars. All races at the Hunting  & Equestrian Club now award trophies and valuable prizes, including cars, which are distributed to winners throughout the season. Additionally, four cars will be awarded at the end of the season to the top point scorers—for the trainer, jockey, owner, and horse with the highest points—alongside cash prizes for second and third place finishers.”
