Hunt for miscreants spreading rumours

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 22: Upon instructions from higher security authorities, personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department are looking for suspicious elements who are said to have posted tweets on the social media alleging the presence of ‘forces’ along Kuwait’s border, reports Arab Times daily.

The daily added, this is done to disturb the relations between the neighbors. The source pointed out the e-crimes department can play a vital role in identify the suspects who are operating from inside or outside the country.

Egyptian held with drugs: An Egyptian expatriate was arrested in Farwaniya area in possession of two sachets of methamphetamine and narcotic pills, reports Al-Shahed daily. Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling Farwaniya area when they noticed a man driving in an unstable manner.
