Hunt for expats – ‘Drifters’ held

KUWAIT CITY, June 24: Police are looking for 200 expatriates of various nationalities who had been sentenced in absentia and are still at large, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, these persons were convicted by court about five years ago and police records show they have yet to leave the country.

Deportation consultant Mohammad Al-Duaij said orders have been given to the security authorities to find these people and deport them from the country.

Meanwhile, teams from Public Security sector launched an extensive campaign against reckless drivers and stunt performers in Khairan, during which they confiscated nine vehicles, issued 40 traffic citations and arrested four wanted individuals. The vehicles were referred to the seized-vehicle garage says Al- Seyassah.
