RIYADH, Sept 12: A projectile launched by the Houthi militia fell in Al-Tuwal Governorate in Saudi Arabia’s Jazan region on Saturday, injuring two people and causing material damage to a mosque, several buildings and vehicles, Saudi Civil Defense said.

The official spokesperson for the Civil Defense said emergency teams responded to the incident after the projectile struck the governorate.

The attack caused damage to the mosque, buildings and vehicles, while two people sustained injuries.

The spokesperson condemned the targeting of civilian objects, describing it as a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

The Civil Defense said established procedures for dealing with such incidents were immediately implemented.
