ADEN, Sept 7: The Yemeni Ministry of Defense announced that three service members were killed and seven others were injured in 167 new Houthi violations of the UN-mediated ceasefire in the past two days. The government troops repelled four attempts by the Houthi militants to infiltrate into military camps in the governorates of Marib and Dhale on Monday and Tuesday, according to a statement by the information center of the ministry.

The persistent violations of the truce included attacks by artillery, machineguns and drones on military sites in seven governorates, the statement noted. These attacks take the number of the Houthi militias' breaches of the ceasefire agreement since August 2 up to 3,205. A total of 57 government army personnel lost their lives and 187 others were injured in the Houthi assaults during this period. (KUNA)
