Hostile Drone Attack Damages Kuwait's Abdali Border Crossing, No Casualties Reported

KUWAIT CITY, July 23: Kuwait's Ministry of Defense said the Abdali border crossing came under attack by hostile drones on Thursday afternoon, causing material damage but no injuries.

Official Ministry of Defense spokesman Major General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi said the attack resulted only in property damage, with no human casualties reported.

He said specialized teams were immediately dispatched to the scene to manage the incident and implement the necessary security measures in coordination with the relevant authorities.

Inspection and explosive disposal teams from the Land Force have also begun surveying and securing the area, while removing drone debris in accordance with approved technical procedures to ensure the site is safe and free from any hazards.

The Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to carrying out their duties with a high level of efficiency, maintaining continuous readiness to protect Kuwait's borders and safeguard the country's security and stability.
