Hospital denied news about data manipulation by Egyptian registrar

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 5: The Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital denied the news which had circulated about an Egyptian registrar who registered his wife under the name of a 16-year old Kuwaiti girl for conducting a pregnancy analysis test in order to avoid paying fees, reports Aljarida daily.

In a statement, the hospital indicated that the parents of the victim of identity-theft had requested an investigation into the validity of the analysis.

It explained that the emergency unit of the Medical Records Department does not have any Egyptian employees. The request for analysis for the patients in the emergency unit is done through an automated system. All the conditions and decisions of the Ministry of Health are applied and followed in all hospitals and facilities of the ministry.

The hospital stressed the need to verify the accuracy of news and information before publishing them, as well as to follow official channels for obtaining information.
