Hope up for Entertainment City

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15: The Cabinet has entrusted the Minister of Information and Culture Hamad Rouh Al-Deen with the responsibility of supervising and following up the execution of the Entertainment City project, reports Al-Qabas daily. The minister was also assigned to coordinate with the concerned authorities to take necessary actions for dealing with the existing legal, technical, economic and financial aspects related to the transfer of the project, and submit a final report to the Cabinet within a month. He was instructed to include in the report the recommendations to be taken to implement the project as soon as possible.

In this regard, a letter issued by the Cabinet to the relevant ministers indicated that the Cabinet reviewed the memorandum of the General Secretariat of the Cabinet’s Legal Affairs Secretariat dated October 3, 2021, which included its legal opinion that it issued after studying the content of the Amiri Diwan’s letter that affirmed that the Council of Ministers may assign any government agency to implement the Entertainment City project.
