HONOR ROBOT PHONE: First Look at HONOR 5th Anniversary Users Event

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 18: Global AI device ecosystem brand HONOR offered the first in-person look at its HONOR ROBOT PHONE concept during the brand’s 5th Anniversary Users Event. The device shown at the event represents the physical interpretation of the ROBOT PHONE concept that was first announced during the HONOR Magic8 Series launch event on October 15 in China.

The fifth-version prototype showcased at the event features a design that remains highly consistent with the earlier ROBOT PHONE concept, translating its futuristic aesthetic into a tangible form for the first time. This marks the first time the public has seen the concept beyond renderings and stage visuals.

Expected to make its global debut next year, with an anticipated appearance at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, the HONOR ROBOT PHONE explores the future of AI-native devices by combining smartphone-level AI computing, robotic mobility, and a high-definition camera system. It embodies three core attributes: the cognitive power of AI, the movement capability of a robot, and the imaging performance of a dedicated camera.

At the World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, HONOR CEO Mr. Li Jian emphasized that AI intelligence will eventually exceed human capability, and that smart terminals—bridging the digital and physical worlds—will become the primary carriers for AI to empower people.

Earlier this year, HONOR introduced its “Alpha Strategy,” committing a USD 10 billion investment over five years to build a world-leading AI terminal ecosystem. The ROBOT PHONE concept represents one of the most forward-looking explorations under this strategic roadmap.
