His Highness the Amir to grace 9th Int’l Shooting GPrix opening ceremony

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 9 His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al- Jaber Al-Sabah will grace the opening ceremony of the His Highness the Amir 9th International Shooting Grand Prix tomorrow evening. He will be represented by Governor of Jahra Nasser Al- Hajraf in Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad Hall at Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex.

Meanwhile, Secretary General of Kuwait and Arab shooting federations Eng Obaid Al-Osaimi praised the generous support given by His Highness the Amir towards the sport of shooting and to the sharpshooters. He affirmed that the competition will continue with its series of successes for the ninth year.

More than 360 sharpshooters from 30 Arab and foreign countries are set to participate in His Highness the Amir 9th International Shooting Grand Prix at Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex. Kuwait will be represented by a total of 100 male and female sharpshooters – 44 in rifl e category, 45 in pistol, and 11 in Olympic archery.

The event will include all Olympic shooting competitions, with the participation of the most skilled world archers from Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, and others as well as from Arab countries and Kuwait
