KUWAIT CITY, Sep 30: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, this afternoon performed the funeral prayer on the body of late Amir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in Bilal bin Rabah Mosque.
His Highness was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the sisterly State of Qatar, and the representative of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
The funeral prayer was also performed on the body of His Highness, His Excellency the Speaker of the National Assembly, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, and senior officials in the state and by number of Kuwaiti citizens.
