Higher End-of-Service Benefits Approved For Kuwaiti And Expat Workers

KUWAIT CITY, May 14: The report on the public budget for the 2025/2026 fiscal year revealed an increase in the estimated end-of-service compensation for employees in ministries and government departments by KD 33.905 million, compared to KD 219.794 million for the current fiscal year and KD 185.889 million for the previous fiscal year of 2024/2025.

The report highlighted that the estimated amount for end-of-service compensation falls under the “social allowances” category in the budget’s appropriations and expenditures. It stated that the estimated amount is divided into KD 187.178 million for end-of-service compensation for Kuwaiti employees and KD 32.624 million for non-Kuwaiti employees.
