Players vie for the ball.

KUWAIT CITY, March 3: Tonight at 7:15 pm, Kazma will face Al-Qadisiya in a highly-anticipated match at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex hall, marking one of the most delayed fixtures in the Volleyball League. Simultaneously, Kuwait will take on Al-Sulaibikhat at 5:15 pm in the same venue.

In adherence to the tournament system, the top four teams will secure spots in the semi-finals. The global point calculation system is employed, awarding the winner of a 3-0 or 3-1 victory with three points, while the loser earns none. A 3-2 win grants two points to the victor and one point to the defeated team. Matches involving Kuwait, Al-Qadisiya, Kazma, and Burgan were postponed due to their international commitments. Currently, Al-Qadisiya and Al-Kuwait have already secured their semi-final berths.

Kazma, positioned eighth in the Arab Championship after a specific loss to Burgan in the seventh and eighth place playoff, enters the clash with 34 points from 15 matches, claiming the fifth spot. Meanwhile, Al-Qadisiya holds second place with 40 points, trailing behind the leader Kuwait with 42 points. Al-Arabi and Burgan occupy the third and fourth positions, both with 35 points each. The upcoming matches will prove pivotal for these three teams as they vie for qualification to the coveted Golden Square.
