KUWAIT CITY, Sept 8: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Monday praised the achievements of Kuwaiti medical cadres and the ability of the national health system to keep pace with global developments.

His Highness received Health Minister Dr. Ahmad Abdulwahab Al-Awadhi and a specialized medical team at Bayan Palace, where they presented details of Kuwait’s latest medical accomplishment – the successful completion of ten high-precision operations using remote surgical robots.

The team explained that the procedures, carried out with advanced robotic technology, were performed with great skill and efficiency, marking a milestone for Kuwait in the field of robotic surgery.

Commending the medical staff, His Highness described the achievement as historic and reflective of the scientific excellence of Kuwaiti professionals, as well as the health sector’s ability to adopt modern technologies.

His Highness prayed to Allah Almighty to grant success to all those serving the homeland and raising its flag in regional and international medical forums.
