KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has reaffirmed that Kuwaiti citizens and expats can renew their Civil ID cards through several convenient channels, as part of its ongoing efforts to streamline government services and reduce in-person visits.

According to PACI, individuals seeking to complete a Civil ID renewal transaction may choose from four approved methods, depending on their preference and accessibility.

The first option is renewal through the unified government services application “Sahel”, which allows users to complete the process digitally with minimal steps.

The second method is through the official PACI website at paci.gov.kw, where applicants can submit renewal requests and follow the required procedures online.

PACI has also made provisions for renewal via telephone, enabling applicants to complete the transaction by contacting the designated service numbers.

In addition, Civil ID renewal can be carried out by sending a text message, offering a simple alternative for users who may not have access to smartphones or internet services.

The Authority emphasized that these multiple channels are intended to enhance accessibility, improve efficiency, and ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential civil services to the public.
