MOSCOW, Feb 21, (Xinhua): A Mi-8 helicopter made an emergency landing in Russia's Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region, an Arctic region in northwest Siberia, on Saturday morning, with all passengers and crew members surviving the incident, local authorities said.
Law enforcement authorities said the helicopter was carrying three crew members and seven passengers at the time. "There were passengers and crew members on board. All are alive," a representative of Yamal Airlines said. The Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the hard landing.
