KUWAIT CITY, Oct 20: An Egyptian expatriate born in 1984 was killed and another Egyptian worker was injured after a heavy mass of concrete fell on them at a work site in Jahra Governorate. A security source said the Operations Room received a report that two expatriates had been injured in the incident and had been taken to a hospital in a private car. An ambulance arrived, and medical personnel determined that one of the workers had succumbed to his injuries, while the other received medical treatment. The injured worker, an Egyptian expatriate born in 1973, told hospital staff that a heavy mass of concrete had fallen on him and his colleague while they were working at the site. Security personnel proceeded with the necessary procedures, and a case was registered. Investigations are under way to establish the circumstances of the incident.
