Hearing for ‘royal’ in murder set for March 10

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 20: The Court of Appeals has set the session of March 10 for the hearing of the closing arguments in the murder of the young citizen, Abdulaziz Al-Zaatari, at the hands of a member of the ruling family. During the session, the psychiatrists who prepared the report on the accused confirmed that he does not suffer from any psychological disorders and is mentally sound. Earlier, the Criminal Court had sentenced the accused to the death penalty. According to the case file, on the evening of April 10, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate had witnessed a horrific crime when a young man Abdulaziz Al-Zaatari was shot to death in front of his house. The killer had used a protective helmet to hide his identity, and after killing the victim, he fled from the scene. The Criminal Security Sector was able to arrest the suspect and the weapon used in the crime and referred him to the concerned authority for necessary legal measures to be taken against him.
