KUWAIT CITY, Apr 30: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has issued a detailed clarification regarding a video circulating on social media that shows a woman conducting a live broadcast from what appears to be an emergency room. The ministry confirmed that the location shown in the video does not belong to any of its official healthcare facilities.
In its statement, the ministry emphasized that all public and private health institutions in Kuwait operate under strict regulations and bylaws that govern photography and filming within medical departments. These rules are in place to safeguard patient privacy, maintain the confidentiality of medical information, and ensure a calm and secure environment for treatment.
The ministry further stressed that any violation of these regulations is subject to legal accountability and disciplinary procedures as per applicable laws. It warned that unauthorized filming or live broadcasting inside healthcare facilities can disrupt medical services and infringe upon the rights and privacy of patients.
Reiterating its stance, the Ministry of Health urged all individuals to strictly adhere to hospital rules and avoid any practices that may disturb patients or violate privacy, including recording or sharing content without permission. It also called on the public to verify information through official sources and refrain from spreading unverified content on social media.
