KUWAIT CITY, June 25: The Ministry of Health, through the Drug Inspection Department, confirmed the recent inspection of a cosmetics storage in Salmiya; in cooperation with the ministries of Interior and Commerce, reports Al-Anba daily. The campaign resulted in the discovery of grave violations in the storage; which is located in the basement of a building measuring 1,000 square meters, such as operating without obtaining permits from the Ministry of Commerce and Kuwait Firefighting Force.
Other violations uncovered include the failure to meet the conditions and specifications regarding the environment or storage for cosmetics, expired items – samples of which were submitted to the competent department, labels with new dates, and failure to present registration certificates issued by the Ministry of Health and purchase invoices issued by the local agent.
