KUWAIT CITY, Nov. 30: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has received regulatory approval to supply a wide range of essential medicines, including treatments for cancer and several other serious illnesses, according to an official announcement on Saturday.
The ministry confirmed that it had submitted procurement requests to the relevant regulatory bodies for medications used to treat digestive system diseases, cancer, and Alagille syndrome - a rare genetic disorder that resembles liver disease and can affect infants and young children.
Following a review, authorities granted the necessary approvals, allowing the ministry to move forward with securing these vital medications for patients across the country.
