KUWAIT CITY, Dec 26: Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi has issued Ministerial Decision No. 354 of 2025, dated December 25, 2025, ordering the closure of Royal Pharmacy and the revocation of its operating license.
According to Article One of the decision, license number 3500081, which was granted to Royal Pharmacy, has been cancelled pursuant to Clause Ten of Article Two of Ministerial Decision No. 327 of 2025. The decision formally terminates the pharmacy’s legal authorization to operate.
Article Two of the ministerial decision stipulates that the ruling shall be communicated to all concerned authorities for immediate implementation. The decision takes effect from the date of its issuance, and any previous decisions or provisions that conflict with its terms are hereby repealed.
In this regard, the Minister of Health formally addressed the Minister of Commerce, Khalifa Al-Ajil, requesting the enforcement of the decision and instructing relevant authorities to close the pharmacy in accordance with the ministerial order.
The Minister further called for all necessary measures to be taken to cancel the pharmacy’s commercial license, along with any other licenses or approvals previously issued by the Ministry of Commerce. These include, but are not limited to, advertising permits, electronic platform authorizations, trademark usage rights, and any related files associated with the pharmacy.
He also emphasized the importance and urgency of the matter, requesting that the Ministry of Commerce ensure all concerned parties are instructed accordingly and that the Ministry of Health be informed of the actions taken to implement the decision, in line with established procedures.
