KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12 : The Ministry of Health has issued a new administrative circular outlining updated regulations and controls for renewing overtime (evening shift) assignments, aimed at ensuring uninterrupted services across hospitals, specialized centers, primary healthcare facilities and administrative sectors in line with the new fiscal year’s budget.

The ministry said the renewed assignments will take effect from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027, noting that overtime decisions will be issued only once per fiscal year to maintain administrative and financial stability.

It stressed that all departments must submit the required lists no later than March 1, 2026, with approvals processed through the “Enjaz” application. The lists must be sequentially organized, include all necessary data, and clearly state in the subject line: “Request to Renew Overtime Work Decision for the Hospital.”

The ministry affirmed that the new measures are designed to strengthen governance, enhance transparency and ensure overtime payments are disbursed in accordance with approved regulations and financial frameworks.
