KUWAIT CITY, July 27: In a move to strengthen administrative oversight and improve attendance monitoring, the Ministry of Health has initiated the organization of powers related to the “smart fingerprint” system. The system governs key areas such as attendance and departure, presence during official working hours, overtime, and shift-based work.
The Ministry has directed all its sectors and health regions to appoint a designated employee in each entity who will be responsible for supervising the operations of the fingerprint system. This employee will report directly to the undersecretary of the respective sector or the director of the health region.
The designated personnel will coordinate with the General Registry Department to monitor attendance, ensure the seamless operation of the system, and oversee the preparation and auditing of attendance reports. This initiative aims to promote organizational efficiency and ensure accurate and transparent tracking of staff attendance.
The Ministry emphasized the urgency for assistant undersecretaries and health region directors to submit the names of the assigned employees promptly. Timely submission is critical to ensuring that the monitoring and control mechanisms of the smart fingerprint system are implemented in a structured and effective manner.
