KUWAIT CITY, Sept 4: The Ministry of Health has taken decisive action by closing down more than 20 beauty clinics for serious violations of the law, reports Al-Seyassah daily. These violations include breaches of Law No. 70 of 2020, which governs the practice of the medical profession and related professions, as well as violations of regulations concerning operations in the private medical sector, health licenses, and ministerial directives regarding medical advertisements.

These infractions primarily pertain to the disregard of ethical standards within the medical profession and a lack of adherence to public morals. This stringent enforcement of the law is aimed at ensuring strict compliance and, ultimately, safeguarding the health and safety of the citizens. In addition to these clinic closures, it’s worth noting that approximately 28 pharmacies have also been recently shuttered due to violations of Pharmacy Profession Regulation Law No. 28 of 1996. This comprehensive approach demonstrates the ministry’s commitment to upholding regulations across various aspects of healthcare and medical services to protect the well-being of the public.
