KUWAIT CITY, May 27: The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way people deal with funerals and ceremonies in cemeteries, as Kuwait Municipality has taken more measures to implement health requirements, especially social distancing, reports Al- Qabas daily. According to informed sources, the first step taken by the Kuwait Municipality to prevent gatherings during the burial ceremony was the decision to separate the burial sites between citizens and residents. The forensic cemetery site located in the southern part of the Sulaibikhat cemetery has been designated for residents, while citizens are still buried at the old site. The municipality banned funeral prayers inside the hall, which has been designated for that purpose.
