Hawally Security Blitz Nets 122 Wanted Persons, 547 Traffic Violations

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 17: The Security Directorates Affairs Sector, represented by the Hawally Governorate Security Directorate, carried out a large-scale security campaign in cooperation with Kuwait Municipality and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition.

The campaign aimed to strengthen security deployment, apprehend wanted individuals and violators, and enforce the law.

The campaign recorded the following:

122 wanted individuals and violators were apprehended.
195 security deployment measures were implemented, including patrols, checkpoints and security posts.
547 traffic violations were issued.
5 wanted vehicles were seized.
62 warnings and removal stickers were issued to violating vehicles.
44 abandoned vehicles, boats, caravans, buses, motorcycles, diwaniyas and external fences were removed.
34 humanitarian aid packages were provided.
7 smoking violations in enclosed spaces were recorded.
44 violations and reports were recorded by Kuwait Municipality.
14 violations were issued by the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition.
12 kilograms of adulterated food products were destroyed.

The total results of the campaign amounted to 1,074 actions and violations.

The relevant authorities took the necessary legal measures against those arrested and violators, each according to its jurisdiction.
