KUWAIT CITY, Aug 30: Kuwait’s Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Directorate for Narcotics Control, arrested three suspects in two separate cases involving the possession of 1,560 bottles of imported alcoholic beverages allegedly intended for illegal sale.
In the first case, anti-narcotics officers arrested two suspects in Hawally and found them in possession of 12 bottles of alcoholic beverages along with KD 320, reportedly proceeds from sales.
In a separate operation in Salmiya, authorities arrested another suspect who was found in possession of 1,548 bottles of imported alcoholic beverages, allegedly for trading.
The suspects and seized items were referred to the competent authorities for the necessary legal action.
