KUWAIT CITY, Apr 18: The General Authority for Food and Nutrition has ordered the closure of a food establishment in the Hawalli Governorate after inspectors recorded multiple health and safety violations.

Authorities said five citations were issued during the inspection, the most prominent of which was failure to comply with general hygiene standards and breaches of approved health regulations. Inspectors also found that the establishment had illegally used space outside its licensed boundaries and that food was handled by a worker without a valid health certificate. Another employee was found working without obtaining the required certification.

The Authority أكد that intensive inspection campaigns will continue around the clock, with strict legal action taken against violators to ensure consumer safety and uphold public health standards across Kuwait’s food sector.
