KUWAIT, Jun 24: Kuwait Municipality’s field teams have intensified inspection campaigns across the governorates to monitor violations related to public hygiene and road occupancy, the municipality’s Public Relations Department announced.
The campaigns are being carried out by teams from the Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy Departments as part of efforts to enforce municipal laws, remove violations, and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public areas.
In Hawalli Governorate, the Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy Department said its inspection teams are continuing field tours to identify violators and take legal action against them. The department stressed that its teams are focused on improving cleanliness levels and removing anything that distorts the public appearance or obstructs roads.
The latest campaign in Hawalli resulted in:
- 65 violations for public hygiene and road occupancy
- 53 abandoned and illegally parked vehicles removed
- 361 warning and notice stickers issued

The department confirmed that inspection tours will continue and warned that there will be no leniency toward violations of public hygiene and road occupancy regulations.
It added that all necessary legal measures will be taken against violators to preserve public order, cleanliness, and road safety across the governorate.
