Hawalli Municipality Cracks Down on Violations in Commercial Areas

KUWAIT CITY, June 6: The Public Relations Department in the Kuwait Municipality said the Hawally emergency team carried out inspection tours of the commercial areas to ensure that shop owners adhere to the conditions and controls in force in the municipality, reports Al-Anba daily. In this regard, the head of the emergency team at the Hawalli Municipality branch, Ibrahim Al-Saba’an, said the campaign resulted in the removal of two encroachments on state property in the Hawalli region. The encroachments were destroyed and issued five citations for shop owners for not complying with the billboard advertising license. Al-Saba’an called on shop owners to abide by the laws and regulations in force to avoid paying fines and administrative closure.
