Handball League action heats up with key matches in Round 11

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: The Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Halls Complex will witness three thrilling encounters in the 11th round of the Handball League's preliminary stage. Defending champion Kuwait Club will face Al-Arabi at 7:30 pm, preceded by Al-Salmiya's clash with Kazma at 6: 00 pm, while the day's action begins with an important match between Khaitan and Al-Sulaibikhat at 4:30 pm.

Kuwait Club, led by Haitham Al-Rashidi, sits fourth in the standings with 12 points and aims to extend its winning streak against third-placed Al-Arabi, who holds 14 points but has played three more matches than Kuwait Club. This matchup is crucial for both teams to solidify their positions in the standings.

In the second game, Al-Salmiya, currently second with 14 points from 10 matches, takes on Kazma, who stands seventh with 10 points but has played only six matches. Both teams are eager to prove their mettle, with Al-Salmiya seeking to stay near the top and Kazma looking to climb the rankings.

In the opening match, Al-Sulaibikhat, eighth with 10 points, is in dire need of a win to keep its hopes alive for qualifying for the Premier League, which features the top six teams from the preliminary stage. They face Khaitan, who is 11th with 6 points and equally determined to turn their fortunes around.
