Hana Zahid returns to the screen in thrilling series ‘House Arrest’

CAIRO, Oct 30, (Agencies): Actress Hana Zahid has resumed shooting for her series “House Arrest,” scheduled to air in the winter season via a digital encrypted platform. In this new series, she departs from the romantic comedy genre that characterized her previous roles.

The series consists of 10 episodes and unfolds within a thrilling psychological and social context. It stars Hana Zahid, Sabreen, Mohamed El Sharnouby, TharwaGabil, Mahmoud El Bazawy, Ayeda Riyadh, among others. The series is written by Ahmed Adel and directed by Ahmed Sameer Faraj.

In “House Arrest,” Hana Zahid portrays a character who works as a pharmacist and suffers from psychological issues in dealing with men. Mohamed El Sharnouby appears as a world swimming champion in the story, while Sabreen takes on the role of her mother, who is a psychiatrist sought after by Hana for treatment. Tharwa Gabil portrays the owner of a dog training center and Hana’s close friend.

At the same time, Hana Zahid continues to shoot the film “A Pause of Delightful Moments” with Hisham Majed. The film, written by Sherif Naguib and directed by Ahmed El Gendy, features a cast that includes Hisham Majed, Hana Zahid, Mohamed Tharwat, Bayoumi Fouad, and child actor Jan Ramiz. The film is a social comedy.
