The Little Mermaid actress took to X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday to respond to a user accusing her of “lying” about her pregnancy and subsequently sharing details after keeping it a secret.

In response to the user’s claims of deceit and gaslighting, the 23-year-old singer clarified, “I never lied or even said anything about it, honey. Making a joke about my nose was the farthest I went. I’ll never understand why you are mad I protected my own peace. Wouldn’t you do the same? And I’m gonna share my pics now if I want to because my son is here safely. If you don’t want to see it, just keep scrolling, baby, lol.”

Bailey also addressed another user who suggested she stop sharing pictures of her pregnancy journey after the arrival of her son. She replied, “If you don’t care, why are you responding then, sweetheart? Just don’t care by living your best life and not commenting on mine,” asserting her right to share her experiences.
