KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: The series of attacks on security men continues unabated, the last of which happened in the suburb of Rawdah when a violator of the traffic law was stopped by a patrolman, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the motorist was ordered to pull over because he had fitted an exhaust in his car made annoying sounds.

When the officer asked the motorist to show his ID, he refused and instead sought the help of his 11 friends who rushed to place and attempted to attack the patrolmen and when one of them attempted to grab the officer’s service revolver, he fired warning shots in the air forcing the suspect’s friends to flee. The car plate numbers of some of them have been recorded and a case has been recorded against them. The prime culprit has been arrested and referred for interrogation.
