KUWAIT CITY, Jun 1: The State of Qatar has strongly condemned what it described as repeated Iranian attacks on the sisterly State of Kuwait, calling them a flagrant violation of sovereignty and international law. In a statement issued from Doha on 1 June 2026, Qatar urged de-escalation and emphasized the need to spare the region further instability, reaffirming its full solidarity with Kuwait and support for measures taken to protect its security and sovereignty.
Similarly, the United Arab Emirates condemned the reported Iranian strikes in the strongest terms, describing them as a direct threat to Kuwait’s stability and a breach of its territorial integrity. The UAE reiterated its support for Kuwait and stressed the importance of regional security and restraint.
The Oman also denounced the targeting of Kuwait, expressing solidarity with the country and rejecting all actions that could escalate tensions or undermine regional peace.
The statements come amid heightened regional concern following reports of missile and drone activity attributed to Iran targeting Kuwaiti territory, prompting widespread diplomatic condemnation across the Gulf.
