Gulf stars shine at Kuwait’s art and media honors

KUWAIT CITY, May 3: Gulf actresses garnered awards at the 11th annual Stars of Art and Media Festival, which was organized by the Kuwaiti Artists and Media Professionals Syndicate recently, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Actresses Elham Al-Fadhala, Fouz Al-Shatti, Reem Arhama, and Hessa Al-Nabhan won Best Actress awards for their outstanding performances during Ramadan 2026. Actress Ahlam Al-Tamimi received the Best Promising Actress award. The ceremony, held at Millennium Central Hotel in Sharq, was well attended by stars of art and media, as well as representatives from various media outlets.

The event, hosted by Salman Al-Najada and Abdulaziz Darwish, honored a select group of drama and media stars in recognition of their creative contributions during the Ramadan season. Festival president and media personality Jamal Al-Adwani welcomed the attendees and praised the role of artists and media professionals. A minute of silence was observed in memory of the late esteemed actress Hayat Al-Fahad.
