Gulf cables, Americana qualify for semis

The Late Abdullah Meshari Al-Rawdhan Ramadan Indoor Football Tournament will hold its third exhibition match which will feature the Spanish football legend and former team captain of Barcelona Club Carles Puyol Saforcada and the Spanish professional footballer and central midfielder for the English Club Chelsea and the Spanish national team Cesc Fabregas on Saturday, July 2. According to a press release, Gulf Cables team have qualified for the semi-final round after defeating the team of Al-Qeriyan Group by 4-1. Americana team also reached the semi-final round after defeating Boubyan Bank team by 4-1.

The quarter-final round will end on Saturday, July 2 in a match where the BMW team will face the winner of the match between the Kuwait International Bank and Kuwait Credit Bank teams. International referee Saad Kameel said the matches of the Late Abdullah Meshari Al-Rawdhan Ramadan Indoor Football Tournament are judged based on the international laws of indoor football, adding that the organizing committee has been striving to develop the standard of the tournament. Meanwhile, Coach of the Timas team said his team have reached the finals and is very close to winning the cup, adding that that morale of his team is quite high now especially after it won the Al-Hassawi Tournament.
