Gulf Bank wins three prestigious awards – Bank named ‘Best Customer Service’, ‘Best Car Loan’, ‘Best Cash Management’

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 8: Gulf Bank announced today that it has been honored with the ‘Best Customer Service (Retail)’, ‘Best Car Loan’, and ‘Best Cash Management’ awards from Banker Middle East Kuwait Product Awards 2015. The Bank received the awards from Robin Amlot, Chief Executive Officer of CPI Financial, at Gulf Bank’s Head Office on Dec 7.

The Banker Middle East Product Awards provide a benchmark for the financial sector, recognizing the most successful and innovative banking solutions. Their categories cover all areas of banking and finance, from consumer products, to corporate offerings, and investment banking services. These awards are the most comprehensive platform acknowledging developments and outstanding offerings in the financial services sector for countries in the Middle East.

Commenting on winning the awards, Cesar Gonz·lez-Bueno, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Bank, said: “It’s an honor for Gulf Bank to receive these three important awards. These awards highlight the commitment and dedication of the Gulf Bank team in ensuring that our customers receive the very best financial products and services.”

Gonz·lez-Bueno continued, “Gulf Bank’s team, with support and guidance from the Chairman and its Board of Directors, remains focused on continually improving its services and introducing products that better serve our customer’s needs, because a superior service culture and innovative, easy to use products are keys to continued growth.”

The awards are country specific so that the competition is within the same market and regulatory framework. This also allows for competition with products designed specifically for the demographics of the same domestic market. Institutions nominate their products and services and then the shortlisted nominees are voted for by registered readers and subscribers of CPI Financial Products and magazines. The voting opened on 1 November and concluded on 20 November with the awards being presented in December and then the results to be published in the January issue of Banker Middle East magazine.

In 2015, Gulf Bank won “Best Cash Management Bank in Kuwait” by The Asian Banker, “Best Retail Bank in Kuwait” by The Asian Banker; “Best Retail Bank in Kuwait” and “Best Retail Customer Service Bank in Kuwait” from International Finance Magazine (IFM); “Best Commercial Bank” and “Best Innovation in Retail Banking” from International Banker; and “Best Customer Experience Overall Branch” from Ethos Integrated Solutions.
