Gulf Bank clinch 8th Interbank Futsal crown

Gulf Bank team were crowned champions of the 8th Interbank Futsal Tournament after they defeated National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) team in the finals of the tournament, which witnessed the participation of 18 teams from eight banks.

A curtain-raiser match between board members of Kuwait Banking Association and some Kuwaiti actors including Shihab Hajiya, Abdulrahman Al-Aqeel, Khaled Al-Ajeerb and Ahmed Al-Onan was held before the final match. Secretary General of Kuwait Banking Association Dr Hamad Al-Hassawi and Board Chairman of Kuwait Banking Club Fadel Al-Mandi as well as Secretary of Kuwait Banking Club Jassem Al-Haidar handed over the trophy to the winning team.

They honored Muscat Bank for obtaining the “Ideal Team” title following their first participation in the tournament. Gulf Bank’s Mohammed Jameel was awarded as the top goal scorer. NBK’s Fahad Al-Huza’a was honored as the best player, and Meshari Al-Roumi received the award for the best goal keeper. The board of directors honored the referees who participated in the tour
